Honeybush

Between the great mountain ranges separating the edge of the Karoo from the southern shores of Africa, there is a narrow coastal plain stretching some 250km – this territory is the home of the Honeybush plant.
It has many similarities to Rooibos, both being from the Fabaceae family of plants.

Honeybush has a delightfully distinctive taste, with prominent notes of wildflowers as well as subtle undertones of fruit and sweet spices and a lingering taste of honey.

Like Rooibos, Honeybush has an array of health-promoting properties perfectly suited to counteract the negative impact of today’s stressful environment.

Similar to its “cousin” Rooibos, it is primarily used as an herbal tea on its own or as a blend with other herbals.
It is also widely used in Skin Care and Personal Care products like soaps and shampoos.
